I’m Zachary Hilsman, and I’ve been an aspiring Game Designer for most of my life. When I was only about 10 years old, my brother and I worked on plans for an MMORPG that we wished we could make, combining elements from some of our favorite games. This dream stuck with me, and I even eventually did champion designs for a MOBA, planning up over 30 characters, as well as map design and some other gameplay elements. These two concepts never fleshed out, but they did push me to actually begin to work on developing games, and around 2018 I started working on what would become my first released game, Dulce et Decorum, a 2D pixel art platformer-shooter.
My other projects are Catboy Crazy, a rogue-like built around protecting a cute companion, and a currently untitled RPG set in the wild west.
More information about me is that some of my favorite games (and my biggest inspirations) are the Diablo series, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, the Fallout series, Dishonored, and the Portal series. I recently completed Fallout and Fallout 2, got to Platinum rank in Teamfight Tactics, and have been playing a lot of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic.
